One of the most iconic voices of all time, Kotono Mitsuishi joins the cast as Dr. Asuka Wagami, a brilliant and mysterious scientist whose presence holds key secrets to the story.
Kotono Mitsuishi: “The ‘World & Character Guide’ we received for the recording was handwritten, and it really conveyed the warmth and care of the staff - even that had a kind of Showa-era feel to it. I had been mentally preparing to play a gal, so I was secretly a little shocked! (laughs)
And then to find out that I’d be voicing the mysterious genius scientist Asuka Wagami — what a twist!”
If you’re an anime fan, you would have undoubtedly heard her voice as the original Usagi / Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon and Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis: Evangelion.
The one and only Akio Otsuka joins the cast as DEX, trusted sidekick to resistance leader Ring! You’d have heard Otsuka’s voice as Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid games, as well as Blackbeard in One Piece, and Batou in Ghost in the Shell!
Tomokazu Seki (Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Doraemon) takes on multiple roles, including an array of scheming villains from the shadowy organization known as the UVO (or 宇宙終末協会 in Japanese)
Seki: “This time, I was given the exciting challenge of playing three characters—and even got to perform conversations with myself! It was a thrilling and fun experience.”
It was incredible to be in the sound studio watching Seki-san play three characters, all talking to each other, and nail it all in one take!
Yukari Tamura (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Higurashi: When They Cry) plays Luca, an introverted gal among the vibrant cast who takes on the role of narrator in the story.
Tamura: “There are so many unique and expressive girls in this story, so I hope you’ll look forward to meeting them all!”
Yu Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, Delicious in Dungeon) joins as Iza, a mysterious gal with a fiendish and alluring presence.
Kobayashi: “This project is filled with incredibly charming characters — each one so unique and intriguing that I found myself captivated by them all. Please keep an eye out for the lively and expressive cast of characters throughout the story!”
Mamiko Noto (Kimi ni Todoke, Gundam: Witch from Mercury) voices M-Lezi, the enigmatic,
Noto: “To think I’d get to play the partner of DEX, voiced by none other than Akio Otsuka! I was truly honored.”
Rie Tanaka (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Genshin Impact) joins as Uno, a warm-hearted gal with a colorful visual flair.
Tanaka: “Since this is just the first episode, I’m really looking forward to how the story unfolds from here.”
